JoinPlas GmbH is a joint venture of technology company Continental and system supplier aft automotive. At our location in Waltershausen we produce innovative couplings and connecting elements made from high performance synthetic materials for the mobility of the future. Thanks to less material being required in their production, the space-oriented quick couplings are lighter than conventional connector elements and are offered according to both VDA and SAE standard. In the future, our product line will be expanded to include further thermoplastic products such as push-on connectors, pipes and hoses. Additionally, the integration of sensors significantly increases the functionality of our products.
Our long-term know-how in the construction of lines as well as material and process competency in dealing with technical synthetic material lead to optimal solutions within the standardised environment of the automobile industry. These solutions offer our clients functional security, durability and efficiency. Our development department works with the conventional 3D CAD software used in the industry and uses estabilished methods of validation.
Due to the cooporation of two experienced joint venture partners, prototype construction and testing facilities are available inhouse. Fully automatised assembly plants ranging from the processing of synthetic materials and forming as well as joining processes to assembly guarantee high standards of quality and adherence to schedules.
